DogScooter is proud to sell the Chalo Sulky Duo, a two-person
sulky custom made in Seattle, Washington, USA. The Chalo Sulky Duo is built
like a bicycle with bicycle forks and brakes. It has a single shaft that goes
over the dog's back to attach to the harness. When you sit in the seat, your
weight lifts upwards on the shaft. It does not press on his back.
Chalo Colina, of Austin, Texas along with Daphne Lewis, DogScooter owner,
designed the first Chalo Sulky. David Wilson, David
Wilson Industries , a custom bike frame builder in Seattle, Washington,
redesigned the original model. David solved many design questions Chalo and
Daphne had not thought of. Becky Loveless of Alpine
Outfitters designed and stitched our dorsal hitch harness, reins, and driving
collar.
